Content Analysis and Design

The course content was researched and developed by current Master of Art in Learning Design and Technology students. There were two phases to the project. Within phase one, I was involved in researching and surveying topics around Inclusion. The steps I took were: research for content, organize and present, collect feedback and correct the material accordingly. As a group, we participated in three cycles during this phase.

In the second phase, I was in charge of reviewing and finalizing the modules, as well as organizing, designing and finalizing the course in its entirety. During that phase, I consulted with a mentor once every 2 weeks. With her guidance, I created an extensive ID course map and prepared the course documents to be presented to the respective approval committees at the School of Education and Human Development (University of Colorado, Denver).

Alongside my mentor Susan Laws, we finalized the content of the course, re-imagining it as Humanizing Design. The course is now being offered in Fall 2022.
