Employee OnBoarding – Training Plan

This is a mockup of the project, since I can’t present the internal material.

Problem

New employees were training using outdated paper materials. There was no clear timeline or order to the onboarding process. The new employees were confused by multiple sources of inconsistent information. There was a need to update, organize and streamline the Onboarding Process.

Solution

After a discussion with the team’s manager, I compiled all the materials necessary for the Onboarding process, organized them according to an agreed upon plan and created a prototype of the Onboarding Training Map using Trello. Once the project was approved for implementation, I used Microsoft Planner, the preferred software for this organization, to complete it. This Onboarding Training is now being used with new employees not only for this team but across the organization.
